HP 48 GX emulator for android.- 128 K internal RAM.- 128 K card in slot 1(can be merged).- 256 K card in slot 2 (can be changed when calc is turned off 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 K) Changing size loose all content of card in slot 2- Automatic save and load of state.- Load and save objects to/from stack level 1 (Objects are loaded and saved from/to /sdcard/go48gx/files).- On kitkat device import/export is now at /Android/data/o2s.emul.hp48gx/files instead of /go48gx- Speed from x1 up to x10.- Clock synced with android.- HP82240 printer.- Sound support for BEEP command (broken on android 4.3 see https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=58113)Avoid checking force gpu rendering in developer option in android 4.x prefs, this leads to graphic problems.On S5 devices, long press the right hardware button to get the menu.See www.hpcalc.org/ for programs. Doesn't get past prompt to attempt memory recovery.
This app gives emul48 a run for it's money.
Paid for pro version so I could write programs on PC and load them. Works great!!! Thought it was pricey, but worth it. Used to use Droid48, but found it to be unreliable.

Keyboard graphics poor
I'm having a problem, though - when installing MetaKernel (latest - 2.30), the installation proceeds without issues but afterward the program freezes. Could you look into it and see if it can be fixed? TIA.
I strongly advise against this purchase. It won't run at all. It freezes on the "Recover Memory" screen. Don't waste your money.
I LOVE THIS CALCULATOR :) Works great on my SGS7
Seems to work OK, but it jiggles around when you press a key, and, even worse, beeps when you make a mistake. And there is nothing at all you can do to stop it! Even though everything possible on the phone is set to 'silent'...
Used to use Droid48, but it crashed/froze frequently and was unreliable. So I reluctantly deleted it. Enter Go48GX. Go48GX runs all my libraries and programs wthout a hitch on my Ultra Z under KitKat. Fast and reliable. Expensive for an Android app, but IMHO - worth it.
